1972 Dodge Demon 340 – 4-speed > Rotisserie Restored
This 1972 Dodge Demon is a factory 340 car currently powered by a very strong 360 V8 paired with a 4-speed trans and a Sure-Grip 8¾” rear axle with 3.55 gears. Originally finished in the rare color of TB3 Corporate Blue (Petty Blue), the car was refinished in the same eye grabbing color during a rotisserie restoration completed approximately ten years ago.
This cool A-body is exceptionally straight with excellent panel fitment, and the paintwork, trim, and brightwork show beautifully. There is no evidence of rust and there has been some metal replacement (quarter panels).
Key Features:
Numbers-matching 340ci V8 engine block is included, currently powered by a strong 360 dressed as a 340
4-speed transmission
8¾" Sure-Grip rear end with 3.55 gears
“Borgeson” Power steering and manual front disc brakes
Vintage A/C
New torsion bars, springs, and shocks – rides and handles great
Refinished in “Petty Blue” over a white vinyl interior (new Legendary seat covers are included with the sale – a $1,200 value and you don’t have to wait a year!)
Perfect, clean glass, and excellent weatherstripping, stainless and chrome present very well, and the grille, scoop, and tape stripes are in great shape
The KING – Richard Petty signed the glovebox door
Fully functional lights, gauges, switches, and electrical
New or restored wiring – no known electrical issues or draws
All suspension and brake components replaced or restored
All locks, handles, and window cranks operate correctly
Car has long tube headers currently, the original exhaust manifolds are long gone
The car is extremely clean inside and out, with great attention paid to correctness and functionality throughout the restoration. It drives straight, stops well, and exhibits the solid, tight road feel of a properly sorted A-body Mopar.
