Offered here is a beautifully restored 1941 Chevrolet AK series pickup, finished in factory-correct blue with black fenders and running boards. This truck represents Chevrolet’s first new light-duty design of the 1940s, and it shows wonderfully with careful attention to originality throughout.
The exterior is enhanced by period-correct stake bed boards, painted with a vintage Texaco gas station motif—a tasteful nod to American service station heritage that makes this pickup stand out at shows, parades, or in a private collection.
Under the hood, the truck runs and drives just as it should. The reliable inline-six and 4-speed manual transmission delivers a smooth, enjoyable ride, and all mechanical systems have been properly sorted during restoration. Inside, the cab is finished in authentic style, retaining the simplicity and charm of early-1940s Chevrolet craftsmanship.
All windows operate well, there is a part missing for the windshield vent operation, but it works with a manual “work around”. Electrical gauges and lights are all operational, the brakes and suspension components are safe and reliable. Springs and shocks seem to be functioning properly.
The interior is very nice and looks beautiful, the seats, knobs, gauges, switches, etc. are all in perfect shape and work well.
Whether you’re a collector of pre-war American trucks, a Texaco memorabilia enthusiast, or simply someone looking for a piece of rolling history, this Chevy checks all the boxes. It’s a turnkey classic—ready for display, cruise nights, or to be enjoyed as a working showpiece.
